The
purpose of FMAA is to promote a unifying influence in the field
of medical auditing. FMAA supports the belief that in today’s
society, health care is delivered in a dynamic, labor intensive,
technologically sophisticated environment.
It
is the objective of FMAA to:
•
Develop and promote an environment conducive to the open exchange
of information pertinent to medical auditing.
• Develop and create acceptance of criterion which fosters
professional performance by the individual medical auditor and
their approach to the field of medical auditing.
• Create an open exchange of information between the health
care provider, the third party payer and the medical auditor
regarding the philosophy, the audit process and the outcome.
FMAA
encourages anyone who is concerned with the cost of health care,
billing issues, and clinical auditing to join our association
and attend our educational seminars.
FMAA
meets on a quarterly basis on the third Friday of January, April,
July and October and provides outstanding networking opportunities,
as well as CEUs recognized by many of the professional health
care licensure and accrediting bodies. |
