HOST A FMAA MEETING!

   
         
 
 

Select a Date:
Meetings are held the third (3rd) Friday of January, April, July and October

Determine Topics and Speakers:
Arrange for one of the following:
- Two speakers to speak 1 to 1 ½ hours each
- One speaker to speak for 3 hours
- One speaker for 1 ½ hours and a workshop for 1 ½ hours
- 3 hour workshop

FMAA Provides CEU Credit:
Provide the FMAA CEU Coordinator with the following, as soon as possible, for approval:
- Speaker(s) name and topic
- Speaker(s) Bio and contact information
- Agenda with times

Reserve a Meeting Place:
- Hospital usually provides a room for free
- Hotel or other conference room paid for by FMAA (with Board approval)

Choose a Menu
:
- Arrange breakfast/lunch/drinks
- Provide bottled water for speaker(s)
- FMAA will reimburse you the cost

Make Flyers for Area Hospitals -distribute via email or fax

Get All Meeting Information to The Secretary At Least 6 Weeks In Advance of Meeting:
- Agenda with times
- Speaker name and topic
- Directions to meeting place
- Local Hotel information

Purchase Gift Certificate for Speaker(s):
- $25.00 each
- FMAA will reimburse the cost
